Privacy Policy
Fuel Log ("we", "us", "the app") is developed by Usman Khan and respects your privacy. This document explains what data the app collects, why, and your rights regarding it.
1. Data we collect

We do not collect your name, email address, GPS location, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera data. No account creation is required to use the app.
2. Local storage
All your fuel logs, trip records, and vehicle data are stored exclusively on your device using Android's local database (Room). This data is never uploaded to our servers or shared with third parties. If you uninstall the app or clear its data, all records are permanently deleted.
3. How we use crash and analytics data
- Crash diagnostics — to detect, reproduce, and fix crashes as quickly as possible.
- Usage analytics — to understand which features are used most and where users encounter problems, so we can prioritise improvements.
Analytics data is anonymous and aggregated. We cannot identify individual users from it.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. The third-party services below process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies:
- Google Firebase (Google LLC) — Crash reporting and analytics: policies.google.com/privacy
5. Your rights
- Delete all your data — uninstall the app or go to Android Settings → Apps → Fuel Log → Clear Data. All local records are permanently removed.
- Opt out of analytics — you can disable analytics in Settings → Privacy within the app, or disable Firebase Analytics collection via your device's ad settings.
- Data requests — email ukhan.nedian@gmail.com for any questions about your data.
6. Security
- All data transmitted to Firebase is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.
- Your local app data is stored in Android's private app storage — inaccessible to other apps.
7. Children
This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us at ukhan.nedian@gmail.com and we will address it promptly.
8. Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
